Bus trip
•June 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentBoard 36 and our bus to Samui from Bangkok.
19h00 leaving Sai Thai station,
05h00 at the boat desk near Suratthani, with 1 halfway stop.
Bus is from far the favorite transport for Thai people. It covers the whole country at a fair price, depending on your class bus.

Foodlands
•June 2, 2009 • Leave a CommentAn easy way to eat good food with a great choice is to find any Foodland, Foodmark area, as usually within any mall you could find.
You first filled a card with the amount you want then check the small kitchen/shops and make your order of Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese or Indian food at your choice.
Prices are usually around 35 to 80 baths so basically you’d eat well for 100/150 baths (2 to 4€) drinks included.

Rotfai faa
•June 1, 2009 • Leave a CommentRotfai Faa, the skytrain, is the best to chose within central Bangkok. Reliable, fast (when looking at those busy streets) but so cold thanks to the AC fully running inside.
You’ve got some tv progs to help you waiting on the platforms but also within the train.
What I also love is the regular rows of waiting people on boards at rush hours, thing just impossible in France for instance.
